Madison Byrnes

Owner/operator MOCEA LTD

For over 18 years, Madison Byrnes has taken on some of the toughest construction challenges — and delivered. From deep storm sewer repairs on Highway 400, to leading the rebuild of the Nottawasaga Bridge under waterlogged and high-risk conditions, to managing 32-storey tower construction in Halifax, Madison has a track record of stepping into complex projects and seeing them through.

Starting in heavy civil work in Ontario and later moving into high-rise and mixed-use developments in Nova Scotia, he has managed everything from multi-million-dollar bridge builds to downtown traffic shutdowns, environmental creek diversions, and high-tolerance concrete pours.

As a C.E.T. in civil construction, Madison’s strength is not only in technical expertise but also in crisis management, coordination, and negotiation. Success, for him, comes down to the details — and his projects show that no matter how extreme the conditions, the work gets done.

Alexis MacLean – Finishing Superintendent, MOCEA Ltd.

At the critical final stage of every project, there’s one person making sure every detail is right before handover — that’s Alexis Maclean, our Finishing Superintendent.

With a track record of successfully delivering over 220 high-rise residential units, Alexis has mastered the art of solving complex finishing challenges under tight timelines. Her role demands sharp problem-solving skills, coordination across multiple trades, and a meticulous eye for quality — all of which she has developed in an impressively short construction career.

Alexis thrives in the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of project close-out, ensuring that every space meets both design intent and client expectations. Her ability to anticipate issues, coordinate solutions, and maintain forward momentum makes her an indispensable part of the MOCEA team.
